职位描述： Responsibilities and Tasks1.Provide support and guidance in applied statistical methodology and projects including but not limited to sampling methodology, ANOVA, multiple linear regression, design of experiments, predictive modeling, multivariate analyses, spatial statistics, statistical process control, time series, mixed models, variance components analysis, reliability statistics, etc.2.Identify and work on data analysis projects that will improve product yield and quality, reduce costs and cycle time, and optimize business practices.3.Conduct research and develop, and/or implement new or advanced statistical methods and procedures in data analysis/mining.4.Turn data into knowledge that engineering, operations, and management can utilize for data-driven business decisions.5.Document statistical methods and analyses in formal reports for the purpose of presenting, storing, and/or sharing as best practices.6.Drive the use of multivariate analytical methods and machine learning algorithms that can be applied to large multidimensional data to enable big data analytics.7.Evaluate/validate statistical work conducted by other team members.8.Develop and/or Teach applied statistics courses, including but not limited to statistical software (JMP, JSL, R etc.), statistical process control (SPC), exploratory data analysis, measurement system analysis (or gauge capability studies), design of experiments (DOE), etc.9.Support third-party statistical software applications such as JMP, R, etc. This may include troubleshooting user problems and/or writing statistical scripts/ programs for data analysis automation.10.Extract data from different databases via SQL and other query languages.11.Apply data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.12.Serve as a consultant for team members in projects where guidance and assistance with data analysis is neededExperience13.At least 5-years of experience applying a variety of statistical methods (e.g., sampling methodology, ANOVA, multiple linear regression, design of experiments, predictive modeling, multivariate analyses, spatial statistics, statistical process control, time series, mixed models, variance components, reliability statistics, etc.). Experience applying statistics in the semiconductor industry is preferred.Qualifications1.A working knowledge of a wide variety of applied statistical methods, including categorical data analysis, statistical process control (SPC), multiple regression and ANOVA, design of experiments (DOE), nonlinear regression, logistic regression, random/mixed/fixed effects and variance components modeling, statistical reliability methods, nonparametric statistics, survey design and analysis, re-sampling methods, mathematical statistics, and others.2.Ability to extract data from different databases via SQL and other query languages and applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.3.Capable of visually summarizing and presenting advanced analytical results and, if possible, monetary benefits to management.4.Ability to influence decision makers by turning data into valuable information.5.Experience in big data analytics or willing to expand his/her skills and knowledge in a big data environment.6.Experience teaching and/or implementing statistical methods (preferred).7.Proficient computer skills (Windows, UNIX, Word, Excel, etc.) as needed for project assignments.8.A working knowledge of statistical software programs, such as SAS, JMP, R, etc. and/or other statistical software including scripting capability for automating analyses. Computational programming skills are essential.9.Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills, as well as the ability to present technical subjects to other technical and non-technical team members.EducationPh.D Preferred.
