Develops plans, directs and controls day-to-day operations of the UFH Oncology Service Line across all markets in accordance with local laws and policies. Responsibilities include directing, monitoring, controlling, coordinating and evaluating the operational decisions of all oncology services. The position has accountability for P&L, annual goals and budget, operational decisions and improvements, enhancing existing programs, developing new programs, and ensuring world class patient care. In addition, this position has responsibility for community and government, and hospital-to-hospital relations. Supervision Received: Reports directly to the President UFH.岗位职责Responsibilities:Working closely with the UFH Oncology Executive Administrator, the position would oversee and collaborate on the following :-?Directing the development of short-term, long-range and strategic clinical vision based upon broad organizational goals;?Developing an understanding of the organizational structure, operations, decision making channels, planning processes and financial budgeting control systems through actions and interactions. Uses a wide range of information sources and perspectives to identify current conditions and needs, within a Chinese environment and context, and defines issues and problems to develop a course of action. Makes decisions that are fact-based and logical, and takes organizational resources and objectives into balanced consideration;?Directing clinical operations to achieve budgeted profit results, performance and productivity standards; uses resources effectively to realize maximum gains at lowest costs and maintains fiscal accountability;?In addition, the position would :-?Develop and maintain a sound operational plan for the oncology service line in each of the UFH markets, and establishes policies, practices and opportunities to ensure adequate management develop, coaching and mentoring to provide for capable clinical and management succession.?Be actively involved in recruitment to develop oncology staff, both clinical and nursing, that demonstrates and supports competencies, and has the ability to successfully fulfil the job requirements. Continually assesses each individual's strengths and areas of improvement and effectively communicates through timely coaching, counseling, feedback and completion of performance evaluations;?Directs the development and installation of policies, procedures, practices and feedback loops to maximize communication and adequate flow of information to foster clinical processes and the patient care experience;?Develops and establishes organizational operating policies consistent with the UFH President and organizational overall policies and objectives, and ensures their adequate execution;?Ensures timely monitoring of regulatory and policy issues, particularly as they relate to safety, quality, patient outcomes and facility requirements;?Develops and implements strategic goals and objectives for areas of responsibility by participating in strategic planning activities, working with the UFH President and others to set strategic priorities, gather information and analyses business proposals and offerings.?Demonstrates an understanding of the organizational and market-specific's mission, vision, values and goals through actions and interactions and takes a proactive approach to develop supporting strategic business plans. Identifies and mobilizes resources for achieving results while taking risks to enhance growth and improve the organization's competitive position;?Demonstrates patient focus, teamwork, interpersonal skills and effective communication in all interactions with internal and external constituents;?Demonstrates and supports innovative thinking through imaginative, unique or creative solutions or recommendations;?Works closely with all market CMOs and clinical service line physicians and directors to achieve operational goals and quality patient outcomes in line with Joint Commission International standards and processes任职条件Knowledge and Skills:?The ideal candidate will be a board certified medical oncologist with demonstrated clinical and administrative experience.?Minimum of ten years of clinical and operational experience in an oncology setting, with management experience.?Good communication and negotiation skills ,in English, and Mandarin would be a big plus?Ability to make sound decisionsEducation and Experience::?Board Certification in Medical Oncology. 10 years of clinical experience and ability to oversee care of a wide range of oncologic diagnoses. Executive and managerial experience would be highly valued.
