职位描述： Job Description ?Schedule, set-up, and perform routine assays according to established protocols. 60% ？Review protocol and set-up assays according to priority level.？Determine chemicals and quantities needed.？Select and prepare appropriate equipment and/or instrumentation.？Perform procedure independently and accurately according to an established protocol.？Complete the volume of work required to achieve departmental goals and meet the established deadlines. ?Document and communicate status of assays and results. 20% ？Interpret results accurately.？Communicate any aberrant observations with assay or assay results. Decide (with a manager or designee) if adjustments are necessary.？Prepare accurate, complete, and legible records in accordance with established procedures.？Maintain procedures up-to-date by making appropriate changes in written protocols when needed as established by manager or designee. ?Contribute to the support functions of the laboratory. 10% ？Ensure lab supplies are adequately stocked.？Prepare testing reagents (e.g. buffers, gels, standards, etc.) as needed.？Maintain (clean, calibrate, etc.) equipment. Properly document and notify appropriate individuals if calibration is overdue.？Maintain a clean work area and properly dispose of waste.？Perform other group responsibilities thoroughly and on time. ?Quality Expectations. 10% ？Ensure worksheets and other quality documents accurately reflect current procedure. Document procedures with appropriate technical detail in writing as directed by manager.？Notify manager of any deviation from current procedure.？Utilize system of quality documents for recording maintenance, calibration and usage of equipment and instruments as directed by manager.？Properly label chemicals and reagents with all needed quality documentation.？Participate as needed in quality audits including preparation of responses to questions.？Successfully complete required quality training.
