Department Description:Application DevelopmentTasks DescriptionPosition: Major Tasks? Work with senior engineering project manager of E&E to coordinatewith APAC regional E&E industrial marketing segment managers and globaltechnology head to monitor market technology trends, bring in outsiderelevant development and research information on new processes and newapplications for E&E industry to Covestro PCS APAC organization.? identify strategic investment opportunities for PRDC based ontechnical requirements of E&E market and lead to establish intellectualproperty for Covestro.? lead and manage E&E key development projects in APAC and function asthe Regional Technical Key Account Manager for all Strategic Global E&Ecustomers in APAC which is the base to growth the E&E business in APAC.? develop partnership with key players in E&E industry value chain,such as, OEM, ODM, designer, mold maker, molder, machine manufacturer,technology owner.? team up with external capable partners to bring in new ideas, lead toimplement solution development with external and internal partners, andgenerate new business in E&E industry.? introduce and transfer the developed solution to other industries andother regions, i.e. EMLA and NAFTA, to enable the solution may generateadditional business in other industries and regions.? a key member of global advanced application core technology team(CTT).Requirements DescriptionPosition: Skills,...- University graduate major in Plastic Engineering, Polymer Science orMechanical Engineering.- More than 15 years hand on working experience in Plastics ProcessingIndustry related to Injection molding, part design, tool design andtrouble shooting of production problem.- Requires proven expertise in plastic part design, tool design,computer-aided engineering and FEA, finished part testing, advanced,injection molding, extrusion techniques and secondary process (e.g.painting, joining, cutting, metallization, etc.).- Requires extensive experience and proven application development andproject management success at Polycarbonate/blends parts/componentsrelated application.- Requires extensive material knowledge of Polycarbonate/blends, andfairly understanding of other engineering plastics.- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems andto arrive at solutions that support the technical and business goals.- Strong network to E&E value chain players, and good reputation astechnology expert and project development manager in E&E industry.- Have a good understanding of the technical requirements from E&E OEM,ODM and end users.- Possess communication and leadership skills to participate in teams,lead teams, write reports, and make effective presentations (e.g.customers and technical conferences) with professional projectmanagement skills.- Fluent in English and Mandarin; 3rd Asian language, e.g. Japaneseand/or Korean is a plus. 职能类别： 生物/制药/医疗器械
