Department Description:Application DevelopmentTasks DescriptionPosition: Major Tasks? coordinate with APAC regional LED & Medical industrial marketingsegment managers and global technology head to monitor markettechnology trends, bring in outside relevant development and researchinformation on new processes and new applications for LED & Medicalindustry to Covestro PCS APAC organization.? identify strategic investment opportunities for PRDC based ontechnical requirements of LED & Medical market and lead to establishintellectual property for Covestro.? lead and manage all LED & Medical key development projects in APACand function as the Regional Technical Key Account Manager for allStrategic Global LED & Medical customers in APAC which is the base togrowth the Auto & Transportation business in APAC.? develop partnership with key players in LED & Medical industry valuechain, such as, OEM, ODM, designer, mold maker, tier, molder, machinemanufacturer, technology owner.? team up with external capable partners to bring in new ideas, lead toimplement solution development with external and internal partners, andgenerate new business in LED & Medical industry.? introduce and transfer the developed solution to other industries andother regions, i.e. EMLA and NAFTA, to enable the solution may generateadditional business in other industries and regions.? a key member of global advanced application core technology team(CTT).Requirements DescriptionPosition: Skills,...- 10+ years of practice in polymer engineering, advanced injectionmolding processing, part design, tool design or related field.- Requires proven expertise in plastic part design, tool design,computer-aided engineering and FEA, finished part testing, advanced,injection molding, extrusion techniques and secondary process (e.g.painting, joining, cutting, metallization, etc.).- Requires extensive experience and proven global applicationdevelopment and project management success at Polycarbonate/blendsparts/components related application.- Requires extensive material knowledge of Polycarbonate/blends, andfairly understanding of other engineering plastics.- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems andto arrive at solutions that support the technical and business goals.- Strong network to LED and/or Medical value chain players, and goodreputation as technology expert and project development manager in LEDand/or Medical industry.- Have a good understanding of the technical requirements from LEDand/or Medical OEM, tier and end users.- Possess communication and leadership skills to participate in teams,lead teams, write reports, and make effective presentations (e.g.customers and technical conferences) with professional projectmanagement skills.- Fluent in English and Mandarin; 3rd Asian language, e.g. Japaneseand/or Korean is plus. 职能类别： 生物/制药/医疗器械
